Curtis Richards was born August 16, 1954 to Jimmy Williams and Laura Richards in Idabel, Oklahoma. He departed this life on April 11, 2011 at Hill's Nursing Home in Idabel.
He was employed with the Mixon Brothers Post Yard for many years.
Curtis is preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Caroly Boyles; three brothers, Roy Richards, Raymond Neal and Henry Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: long time companion, Bobbie Sue Bedford of; three daughters, Anglea Gallaway and husband Mark of, Gayla Richards, Candace Bedford of; three sons, Curtis Richards Daniels, Michaels Richards, Deniro Bedford; one step-son, Billy Byrd, Jr.; four sisters, Florine Davis and Patsy Neal, both of Lawton, Kathy Richards of Idabel, and Sherry Merriweather and husband Robert of Amarillo, Texas; seven brothers, J.W. Neal and wife Faye, Larry Neal, Larkin Wimbley, Jr., and Anthony Scales, all of Idabel, Vincent Johnson and Sammy Johnson of Lawton; along with a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funerals services are set for 11 AM Saturday April 16, 2011 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Wayne Gulley officiating.
Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery Idabel.
