Curtis Moore

Curtis Moore was born November 26, 1967, to Cleatus Wade Moore and Ada Marie Moore in Idabel, Oklahoma. He accepted Christ at an early age while attending Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He was a proud graduate of Idabel High School. He worked for Tyson for twenty-two years. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 2005.

He was married to Sherri Johnson, and they had 1 daughter. He later married Rosiland Burris; two sons were added.

On August 26th early morning, Curtis was called to his eternal home, surrounded by his loving son, Kelly Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Cleatus and Ada Moore; his sisters, Linda Johnson, Vera Moore and Cleaster Moore; his brother, Cleatus Moore, Jr. (Peebo); one daughter.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, a loving family, a daughter, Meka Johnson, Amarillo, Texas; 3 sons, Kelly Baker, Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Kyle Moore and Kaleb Moore,  Ada, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mable Jackson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Evelyn Moore, Idabel, Oklahoma, Althe Richards (Cecil), Idabel, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Fitzgerald Moore, Dallas, Texas; 2 aunts, 3 uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Debbie Harris; a special friend, Norman Byrd; many more cousins, family members and friends.

His service is set for 11am Saturday September 6th at Nunley Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
