Cleotis Raines, Sr.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Deacon Cleotis Raines, Sr. ascended from his earthly home to heavenly home for eternal rest. Raines was born on May 16, 1938 to Shedrick and Florida Raines in Township of Jackson, Arkansas.

He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was a mason. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Deacon Raines was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He was a dedicated Christian worker in the Brotherhood of the Southeastern District. He took great pride in his work in the district and was truly a servant of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jonnie Mae Raines.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Viney Raines. Sons, Cleotis Raines, Jr. and Shedrack Raines. Daughters, Geraldine Crittenden Brice, Stephanie Goldsmith, Bernadine Raines Ford, Willetta Raines, and Florida Raines.
