Chrest Frost

Chrest "Chris" Wayne Frost was born July 19, 1962 in Idabel to Cody Mae Shoals and Westell "Bubba" Frost. He went to join our Lord on January 27, 2021, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Ok.

At an early age Chrest gave his life to Christ at Rose Hill Baptist Church. Chrest was a kind and loving brother, father, and friend. He always carried a smile behind a joke., he was very gentle. When you heard the name "Chris" that was the name everyone used. Chris enjoyed working for Tyson food for 9 years where he enjoyed meeting people. He always planned to go fishing or be around family on the weekend. He loved to grill and if you have ever tasted a "Drunken chicken" or his famous BBQ sauce you knew he put his heart in it. Chris Wayne enjoyed the company of his loved ones.

Chris Wayne was preceded in death by his mother Cody Mae Shoals and father Westell "Bubba" Frost and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He will be greatly missed by his children Ingrid Brown (Ja'Boris) and Chrest "CJ" Frost Jr. His siblings Wayne Frost, Edward Shoals, and Timothy Shoals, Edmond, OK., Rickey Frost, Spencer, Ok., Arden Dale Battle, Jacksonville, Fla., Annette Burdex, Tomlinetta Shoals, Whitney Shields, Belinda Torres, Phyllis Frost, Darryl Frost, Larry Peace, Ann Frost, Oklahoma City, OK., Bill Shoals, Cochie Shoals, Latoya Frost, Deshun Frost, Shacolela Golston, and Karen Andrews, Idabel, OK. Grandchildren Christian Smith, Ja'Lasia Brown, and Ja'Laiyah Brown, Idabel, OK., Two Aunts Judy Flemmings, Seattle, WA., Brenda Shoals, Texarkana, AR. Three uncles Willie Bailey, Tom, OK., Ray Shoals, Foreman, AR., Henry Shoals, Texarkana, AR.  A host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services are set for 10:30 Saturday February 6, 2021 at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Idabel with Rev. A W Gulley officiating.

Interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery.
