Charmeachealle Devonir Moore

August 17, 1968 — September 24, 2015

Charmeachealle "Mike" D. Moore was born August 17, 1968 in Idabel, OK to Shirley McCoy Moore and Robert Nunley. He passed away September 24th at the Dallas Medical Center.

Mike graduated from Warren Travis White High School (Dallas) in 1986. He went on to attend Taft College in Taft, CA where he played football. Mike was often referred to as C-Moe or Carmichael. He completed his education and college football career at Baylor University in Waco, TX. He loved the game of football and made many memories on the field.

On June 27, 1992 Mike married his loving, supportive wife Shannon Moore with whom he shared everything. Mike and Shannon were partners in every aspect of their lives.

In 1995 Mike took a step and started Moore Landscaping which he later restructured and re-named Beyond Landscaping, LLC. His loves was his work and his family, treating everyone with respect was his goal. Doing those rare moments when he wasn't working he'd be supporting his son Lil Mike as he continued building his legacy on the football field, being a superior skilled fisherman, entertaining his grandsons as PaPop, caring for his pets, and exceling in every title given (uncle, dad, comedian, brother and son). While things will never be the same without him the world and lives of those he touched are better because of the life he lived.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Mike leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife Shannon of the home; daughter La'Portia and husband Mykeal; son Charmeachealle II and wife Victoria; grandsons Ryan and Chance all of Dallas; parents Shirley McCoy Moore and husband William of Dallas, Robert Nunley and wife Linda of Idabel; sisters Lagia Parker and husband Chris, Nykhail and LaToya Nunley, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, loved ones, and dearest friends. Never meeting a stranger it can be, "said to encounter him was to love him".

In 2014 Mike came into a deeper revelation of God's word; he was excited to live his life as instructed by the word of God and diligently shared his faith with others. While we cannot answer "why" we find comfort in knowing that God is sovereign and promised according to Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

A private Taharah service was held Wednesday, and Interment followed at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel, Oklahoma.

A Memorial services is set for 11 am Friday, October 2, 2015 at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 6710 Webster St. Dallas, TX 75209.
