Carl (Monk) Adam Compton

Mr. Carl Compton better known as "Monk" was born October 12th, 1960 to the Late Julius and Vivie Anna Compton in Foreman, Arkansas. He passed away April 10th, 2012, at the Little River Memorial Hospital of Ashdown, Arkansas at the age of 51.
Mr. Compton grew up in the Foreman area where he graducated from Foreman High School with the Class of 1979. Carl was a former Employee of Georgia-Pacific/Domtar Paper Mill of Ashdown, Arkansas and of Texarkana Construction. Carl joined the St. Matthew Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Terry Stong. Carl later moved his Membership to Freedom Temple Chuch of God In Christ under the Leadership of Elder Eddie Williams.
Carl was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and a good Friend with a Beautiful smile and a big Heart.
He was proceed in death by his Parents (the Late Jusius and Vinnie Anna Compton), Two Brothers (Julius Compton Jr., and Michael Charles Compton) one Sister (Bobby Jean Compton) and Step-Father James Nelson Sr.

Carla Adam Compton of Dallas, Texas Collin Anthony Compton of Texarkana, Texas
Cameron Adam Miller of Texarkana, Texas and Eight Grandchildren: Six Sisters: Louise Burris of Tom, Oklahoma, Sherry Jean Compton of Midwest City, Ok., Verda Mae Jackson of Foreman, Arkansas, Diana (David) Hunt of Texarkana, Texas, Bobbie Marie Compton of Daphne, Alabama, Earnestine (Carl) Bee of Idabel, Oklahoma, Two Brothers: Joe Ollie (Julie) Compton of Texarkana, Texas, Edward Lee Compton of Texarkana, Arkansas, One Step Brother: James (Ceola) Nelson of Foreman, Arkansas, One Step Sister: Margaret (Roy) Macon of Foreman, Arkansas, Three Aunties: Joseph Daniels of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
Alberta Cursh of Foreman, Arkansas Mattie Hooks of New Boston, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday April 14th 2012 at Freedom Temple Church of God in Christ in Foreman Arkansas with Elder Andrew Smith officiating.
An Inurnment Service will follow at The Alford French Cemetery Foreman, Arkansas
