Bruce Robbins

July 13, 1960 — May 22, 2023

Bruce Robbins was born July 13, 1960, to Cleophus and Audrey Robbins in Houston, Texas.  Bruce was a proud member of the "Mighty Kashmere Rams", class of 1978.  He was also a proud Texan.  Bruce was employed at the First Baptist Church for 36 years as the Building Supervisor.  While at First Baptist, he made many friends who also became family.

His loving memory will be forever cherished by Carrie, his wife of 39 years, his sons Eric and Cedrick Robbins, and his mother, Audrey Robbins.

Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Ja'Lynn, Eric Jr., Kain, Kobe, and Erianna and his great-granddaughter A'Vaia; his brothers Guy Robbins (Patrice), Timothy Robbins (Syreeta) and Brian Robbins, his sisters Cheryl Robbins and Kimberly Thomas (Fred) and his Father-in-Law Charles Burris, his Sisters-in-love Karen Andrews and Tonnette Washington, his Brother-in-law Tyrone Burris (Lia) and his best friends, Stan Washington, Anthony Fletcher, and Chris Crowder.  He is addition also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Bruce is preceded in death by his father Cleophus Robbins and his mother-in-law Marjorie Burris.

The Home Going Celebration for Bruce Eric Robbins is set for 3:00 pm Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, Idabel with Pastor John Hicks officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
