Bobbie Sue Bedford

On March 2, 2024, at 12:15 a.m. the heavens received another angel.

Bobbie Sue Bedford was born June 27, 1961, to the late Katherine Mae

Bedford and the late Douglas Earl Bee in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Bobbie attended church at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Idabel,Ok. She was

a graduate of Idabel Gray High School. After High School Bobbie married

Billy Byrd Jr. and to this union one child Billy Byrd was born. Bobbie met a

special friend Curtis Richards and to that union two children were born.

Deniro and Candance Bedford.

Bobbie worked at Memorial Heights Nursing Home for thirty years as a

cook. She also worked several years as a Home Health Aide for Druzella

Smith. Bobbie's daughter is Ms. Smith's Goddaughter.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Katherine (Bedford)

Hawkins, and Douglas Bee, Special friend Curtis Richards, one brother,

Douglas Bee Jr., two sisters, Sharon Bedford and Sandra Bedford, her

Grandmother, Ophelia Paxton, Grandfather John L. (Bedford) Hawkins, her

Step-Grandfather, Henry Paxton, five Uncles: John L. Hawkins Jr., James

Earl Bedford, Peter Hawkins (Vera), Tommy Paxton (Jessie) and

Vincent Paxton (Della).

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories, two sons Deniro Bedford of Sioux

Falls, South Dakota, and Billy Byrd (Florence) of Bartlesville Oklahoma, and one

daughter Candance Bedford of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Grand Children,

BreAnna Bedford, Lashari Claborn, Davion Byrd, Kaylei Byrd, Leihla Byrd,

Curtis Bedford, Daylan Bedford, and Sofia Bedford. They all love her

Very much. She also leaves behind one sister Onnie Johnson (Donald)(d) of

Buffalo, Minnesota and four brothers Karl Bedford (Debbie) of Minnesota,

Clarence Bedford of Idabel, Oklahoma, Charles Bee, and Arthur Clardy of

Fort Worth, Texas, three aunts Henretta Wright (Donell) (d) of Broken Bow,

Oklahoma, Rosie Davis (Richard)(d) of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Billie Bedford

of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two

Stepdaughters, two Stepsons, and eleven Step Grandchildren along with

extended family and friends.

Her funeral is set for 11:00 am Saturday March 9th at the Maple Spring Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmie Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
