Betty Jean Cantley, of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

Betty Jean was born to Curtis Cantley and Grace Galloway on September 23, 1941, in Garvin, OK.  She spent the latter part of her life in Idabel but traveled to many places including California and New York.

Betty Jean loved making picture frames, watching movies, going to yard sales, and shopping.  You could always find Betty Jean riding around in Walmart.

Betty Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her companion Bobby Lee, brother Gilbert Wallace, sister Jeanetta Bolden, and two children, Kirk and Anthony Cantley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Brenda and Michael Cantley of Broken Bow, OK, Ayanna and Michael Cobb of California, and Dionne Cobb of Oklahoma City, OK, her 3 sisters Jon'Lu of California, Lois Harris of Dallas, Tx, Ella Batey, of Idabel, OK and her brother James Wallace (Felecia) of Idabel, OK, a daughter-in-law Roslin Brown of Idabel, OK and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and her caretaker/friend Beverly Palmer.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5 th , 2022 from 5 pm-7 pm at Nunley's Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2 pm, October 6 th , 2022 at Mt. Sinai C.O.G.I.C. located at 1012 SW Murray St, Idabel, OK.

The interment will follow at Williamston Cemetery, Idabel, OK.
