Betrice Cubit

Betrice Cubit was born March 12, 1954, to James and Earsie Lee Johnson in Idabel, OK. She departed this life on November 26, 2018, at Little River Memorial Hospital in Ashdown, AR.

Betrice attended school in Idabel and was a member of the Saint James C.M.E Church in Idabel, OK.

Early in life, she was employed by nursing homes as a CNA and worked in the dietary department. She l oved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She also loved listing to music, watching old westerns, and enjoyed fishing and having a good time.

Betrice was a kind and loving woman that will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters; Felicia Johnson of Tulsa, OK, Monica (J R French) Smith of Idabel, Johnetta (Marcus) Richard of Ashdown AK, and Romika Owens of Oklahoma City, OK, her son; Bobby J (Toni Ricks) Whitaker of Edmond, OK.

Her sisters; Evelyn Crutchfield, Jacqueline Johnson, and Sharon Johnson all of Idabel, OK. Betty Burch of Midwest City, OK.  Her brothers; Anthony Johnson of Inkster, MI and Kevin Johnson of Midwest City, OK.  Grandchildren; Miriam Howell, Asia Howell, Marcus Richard Jr., Wiley Richard and Andrea (Johnetta), Richard, Raymond Larry III, Ra'vian Larry, and Ra' dale Larry (Monica) Colby and Malaysia Whitaker (Bobby), Enaijah Samayah, Kanlyah Owens (Romika), and a very dear friend and lifetime companion Daryl O'Guinn; also she leaves to mourn a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and fri ends.
