Arthur Lee Simpson

a.k.a "Dusty Rhodes"

On August 17, 2022, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called His servant, Arthur Lee Simpson, Home to Glory.

Arthur (Dusty) was born to Ms. Learline Simpson and Mr. Stacey F. Patterson on September 3, 1952. Dusty graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1970.  He was proud to be a WILDCAT where he excelled in the band and in the choir.  Dusty enjoyed singing, playing instruments, dominoes, and being one of Idabel's finest DJ.

Arthur (Dusty) is preceded in death by his parents: Ms. Learline Simpson and Mr. Stacey F. Patterson and one grandson, Terrell Streeter.

He leaves to mourn his precious memories: One proud daughter, Tisha L. Streeter (Bethany, OK); four grandchildren:  Arieyona, Teiyona, Taeviyon and Tiara Streeter (all of Oklahoma City, OK); eight great-grandchildren; and two fur-babies: Homie and Joy; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services are set for Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2:00 pm
