Annie Mae Polk

August 6, 1945 — November 29, 1945

OK to Jake Polk and Helen Marie Johnson (fondly remembered as "Mama" Olebabe) . She entered eternal rest on November 29, 2015, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the Paris Medical Center in Paris TX.

Ann received her formal education in Idabel where she met and married Edward Harris. After briefly residing in Midland TX and later Oklahoma City OK, she returned in early 1970, to her deep roots to Idabel Ok, where she remained until her death. She was always a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend, Ann enjoyed spending time with those close to her.



She was preceded in death by her parents Helen Johnston and Jake Polk; two sisters Della Golston and Reva Reynolds; three daughters Shelia, Lisa, and Debra Harris; and one son Lamont Harris.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter Redina Harris of Idabel; three sons Edward "Pee Wee" Harris (Martha) Idabel, Eric Harris Vinita, and Tony Ray Harris Oklahoma City; one sister Betty Jean Johnston of Ardmore; four brothers Leroy Johnston Jr. of Muskogee, Jerry Johnston (Bennie) of Jones, John Williamson and Emanuel Butler both of Oklahoma City, 19 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces nephews and many other devoted relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service is set for 2 pm Saturday December 5, 2015 at Nunley's Funeral Home.

The family will provide a private Inurnment.
