Anna Ruth Jordan Oakes

Anna (Annie) Ruth Jordan Oakes 77 was born March 8, 1943 to the Late Miller Roy and Delia Ann Greene Jordan Odgen Arkansas. On Friday December 11, 2020 she went to sleep in death.

Anna was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 07/02/1994 in Amarillo Texas. She attended the Ashdown school during her youth in Ashdown Arkansas. Leaving there she moved to Idabel.

She was loved by many relatives and friends. Anna worked as a cook and housekeeper during the working years of her life early.

Anna was preceded in death by her daughter Alcleta Cherry and husband Dennis Oakes, three sisters; Mary Alice Jordan, Emma Lee Jordan Carr, Alma Ree Jordan Starks.

She leaves behind to hold and cherish her memories 4 children; Sabrinna (A. B.) Asberry Kansas City Kansas, Doris Raynor (Leonard), Ardmore, Ok., Albert (spoony) Johnson (Urusla) Albuquerque New Mexico, Martha (Anshelle) Jones of the home, (Rodney) Muskogee OK., 3 brothers; DeRoy, Jordan Texarkana AR, Thomas Jordan Ashdown, AR., Iley Jordan Sacramento, CA., sister Bernice Jordan Idabel, OK., 19 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Graveside Service is set for 11 am Saturday Dec 19, 2020 at Williamston, Pavilion.

Interment will follow the service at Williamston Cemetery
