Aline Russell

Aline Russell was born on April 17, 1919 in Foreman, Arkansas to Daniel and Delia Walker. She departed this life September 6, 2015 at her home in Idabel surrounded by her family.
She attended grade schools in Arkansas and Aline accepted Christ at an early age. While living in Idabel she was a faithful member of the Spencer Chapel Baptist Church, under the direction of Lee Sherman Pickings, Pastor.
She met and married Highley Russell on February 10, 1945 and to this union seven children were born.
Aline was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, step-mother, three daughters and one son.
Her memories will be cherished by her son, Ledell Russell (Leola) Tulsa, Oklahoma; four daughters, Dorothy Wheeler, Fresno, California; Mary Solomon, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Ethel Spencer, Idabel, Oklahoma; and Hallie Russell, Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, R. C. Walker, Foreman, Arkansas; one step-daughter, Lucille Collins; one very special niece, Darlene Walker (Phil); 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are set for 11 am Monday September 14, 2015 at the Clear Creek Baptist Church, Idabel, OK.
Interment will follow at the Richland Cemetery, Idabel, OK.
