A'Driel Donte' Giddens

A'driel Donte' Giddens was born September 16, 1993, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Marcus Giddens Sr. and Glenda Watson. He passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Creek Nation Community Hospital at Okemah, Oklahoma.

He was affiliated with the Olive Branch Baptist Church of Valliant, Oklahoma, under the direction of Pastor Burnis Burrell, Jr. at an early age. A'driel enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing video games and going places with grandmother, other friends, and family members. He also enjoyed going out on the truck with his dad and brother. A'driel was a very quiet, peaceful person. He graduated from Valliant High School in 2012, and it wasn't long after that, that his health started deteriorating until his passing.

Preceding A'driel in death a very, very, special grandmother, Peggy Jean Whitaker; uncles, Wilbert Shelton Sr, Bobby Whitaker, Earl Whitaker, aunts, Carolyn Jackson, Linda Marie Whitaker, and Evelyn (Diane) Thompson, paternal grandmother Deborah Giddens, and aunt Kathleen Giddens.

A'driel is survived by his father; Marcus Giddens, Sr., (Lori) New Hampton, Iowa, his mother; Glenda Watson of Valliant, Oklahoma, brother: Marcus Giddens, Jr., of New Hampton, Iowa, aunt, Nichol Sharp (Joseph) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mel Giddens of Portsmouth, Virginia; aunt, Leton Giddens, grandfather; Donald Giddens (Maude) of Valliant, Oklahoma and George Glen Watson of Valliant, Oklahoma, great aunts; Barbara Corley, Valliant, Oklahoma and Anna Adkins (Ardell) of Hugo, Oklahoma. Very, very special aunts, Thelma Burrell of Valliant, Oklahoma and Velma Gardner of Valliant, Oklahoma. Also, A'driel's uncle from dad's side, Clemmie C. (Frankie) Giddens, Martin Giddens and Willie B. Giddens of Idabel, Michael, Charles, and Dennis Giddens all of Oklahoma City, Wash Giddens of San Diego CA; special cousin Greg Briley, and a host of other cousins and friends

Funeral arrangements are set for 11 am Friday, November 15th at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Valliant, Ok., with Pastor Burnis Burrell officiating.

Interment will follow at Elliott Cemetery in Valliant.

Family visitation is set from 5-7 Thursday, November 14th, at Nunley Funeral Home.
